Why is training important?
Good technology, appropriately configured is only part of the solution. At the end of day, all technology involves some human interaction. Training is an investment in your people that pays out via improved efficiency and productivity. That in turn leads to improve profitability.
Many business actually fear training their staff because they fear these people will then take that training and leave. In fact, the opposite is true. Good employees seek out good businesses that offer them training and career development. They are in turn much more likely to stay with a business that provides on going training and skill development.
As you invest in technology you should also invest in training so your business can get the most from that technology. Without that you are simply using technology in ‘first gear’.
What training options can we provide?
You can start with many of our free offerings in places like our YouTube channel as well as our free monthly Need to Know Microsoft 365 Webinar. There is lots of helpful information and best practices on our blog, presentations repository and podcast.
We then have a range of commercial on-demand video training including CIAOPS Learn for end users and CIAOPS Academy for power users. There is also our CIAOPS Patron community where you can immerse yourself in every thing Microsoft cloud and share experiences and knowledge with others.
For those who wish a more customised training offering we also do classroom, boardroom and small group training sessions on all Microsoft cloud topics. Why does experience count?
Everyone learns a different way and the effectively training approach for different audiences, large and small, varies considerably. Having that experience, across a wide variety of students and situations is important when it comes to delivering effective training.
We have been certified by Microsoft as a training professional (MCT) as well as providing training on behalf of Microsoft and distributors across Australia as well as internationally. We also have presented at many events, nationally and internationally, over many years and across a range of Microsoft cloud technologies.
As the technologies evolve so do we and our offerings. We are always in the process of updating and enhancing the information we provide our audiences. Most important of all, we continue to conduct training regularly.
